LED Light Safety Vest Help Traffic Safety

headlights don't guarantee safety for police officers on foot and other pedestrians

Today's brighter headlights don't guarantee safety for police officers on foot and other pedestrians.

In fact, officers directing traffic or working on the road at night often go unnoticed by drivers. Vehicle-struck incidents are the second-most common traffic-related cause of officer deaths, with 1 in 10 officers who died in the line of duty in 2024 being hit outside their vehicles.

There is a modified reflective LEDve vest. Using duck tape and wire ties, we attached LED lights below the vest. Unlike regular light-up vests, this version has stronger lights and the LEDs are placed lower. This design ensures officers are truly visible, rather than just giving them a false sense of security. After a four-year sales push, local police have purchased these vests to ensure their safety.
