Reflective VS. Non-Reflective Clothing

Safety Considerations

For maximum safety, opt for clothing specifically designed with reflective materials, rather than regular clothes or standard bright colors. Non-reflective bright clothing may still help in daylight but won’t offer the same visibility at night.

Washing & Maintenance: Reflective clothing can become less effective over time due to regular wear and tear. Always follow the care instructions to preserve the reflectivity. Some reflective materials can be damaged by harsh detergents or high heat during drying.

Inspection: Regularly check the condition of your reflective gear to ensure that it’s not damaged or worn out. If the reflective material becomes dirty or worn off, it may not work as effectively.
